Hi! I'm Morgen Rich.
This is me.
--------------------------------->>>>
Though I occasionally have been known to live in Lincoln, England in the shadows of the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral and just beyond the walls of Lincoln Castle, I mostly live in Pennsylvania, not far from Philadelphia, with my husband Walt and our Great Pyrenees, Bianca and Tahoe.
Here they are! --------->>>> So you'll get a sense of scale, here they are in a 5 x 7 space. --------->>> Yeah. They're BIG. About 120 pounds of big. When they were rescued, they were in horrid condition. They'd been abandoned and left to starve. At 75 pounds, they were matted and emaciated and had tried to chew their way out of the metal kennel, which did irreparable damage to some of their teeth. The good news is that most of their issues were resolvable (root canals, deworming, shaving, and lots of healthy food). Today, you wouldn't know they'd lived such sad lives before the angels at National Great Pyrenees Rescue saved them. They're sweet and lovable once they know and trust you. Of course, the UPS guys aren't too sure they won't be eaten by them. Pyrs are livestock guardians, so they "announce" when anything (even a falling leaf!) enters their territory. Those "get out of my territory" barks will stop the bravest soul. Very serious about their "jobs," Pyrs will defend their flocks to the death. Bianca and Tahoe still aren't too sure they want that guy in the brown uniform coming up the walk with a box in hand to get too close to their mom. If you're a dog lover like me, do share some pictures of your pets, too! [SHAMELESS PLUG] Please have your pets spayed and neutered, and consider adopting your next pet.
In addition to writing books, I like to garden and have been known to play a game or two. I especially like roleplaying games. Years ago, I gave my D&D books (V1.0) and bag o'dice to my son. I miss those books! Sometimes, I play in Second Life and other virtual worlds. Give me a holler if you do, too!
Chat me up using the Shoutbox if you see that I'm here. I love to talk with others interested in fantasy, science fiction, and speculative fiction and hear their takes on the latest books, movies, and TV shows.
